In Latin America today has been spreading the power of socialism in many countries that still believe this is achievable, such as: "Fórum Social Mundial - Amazonia 2009", "FMLN" and "Partido por la Victoria del Pueblo"; obviously influenced by the largest Latin American political figure who supports this as is Hugo Chavez, who through economic contributions seeks to change the capitalist mentality of many of these followers countries of this ridiculous tend which is supported only by the money Venezuela is providing in order t expand this belief through the latin america territory.

The new Arizona immigration law has been a controversial topic in recent months because it is considered by many activists as racist and xenophobic because of many aspects of it.
Through this law what is basically being sought is that any public institution including the health service or any public official, must report any person who is suspected that has no documents to be in the united states, so that, by the simple virtue of their skin of a different color or speak another language, a public official may ask the papers of this person and if them has none, they must report them.

It’s fine to consider a more efficient migration law against immigrants in the U.S. due to the serious labor crisis in the United States i, as many illegal foreign immigrants entering the United States through the border with Mexico may take a job that could ibe taking an American.
What is wrong is that just because your skin color is different or facial features of a person, or the language they speak, should be considered as a suspected illegal, since many people, by the fear of being denounced in a public entity may not use these services so it would create a major crisis.

trade unions began in Europe, and became popular in many countries during the Industrial Revolution, because of the lack of skill necessary to perform most jobs, causing many workers to be mistreated and underpaid.
A trade union may be consider as an organization of workers who work together to achieve common goals such as better working conditions. The trade union, through its leadership, bargains with the employer on behalf of union members and negotiates labor contracts with employers. This may include the negotiation of wages, work rules, complaint procedures, rules governing hiring, firing and promotion of workers, benefits, workplace safety and policies. The agreements negotiated by the union leaders are binding on the rank and file members and the employer and in some cases on other non-member workers.

these trade unions are very different from what was experienced in Colombia. in Colombia and in many Latin American countries, people due to lack of education or willingness to do things right, believe that violence solves everything, so if there are poor working conditions, workers' groups are created which seeks to give solution to a labor problem, generating a social problem through violence and intimidation. this is the main difference between this practice in Europe and in Colombia, violence and lack of education.

I was watching the blogs and found one that caught my attention is called "La vuelta al mundo de Asun and Ricardo." is a blog where these people discuss their travels around the world and discuss their perceptions of each culture through their personal experiences, which is excellent because they takes time to know the culture and thus be able to provide a view more accurate and less subjective than how is the reality in each of these places they visit, so they are removed from among stereotypes and fails to understand the culture as it is.

the banking system in the Arab world is an interesting issue to address because of the large differences between the Western banking system.

is a system that can bring benefits to users because of many reasons such as the Principle of Islamic banking to share profit and loss and to Prohibit Usury, that assures the beneficiary of this system that he will be paying a fair price for the service that he would be receiving. also because it's a system which in turn ensures the proper use of resources that are provided because the same bank instead of loaning the buyer money to purchase the item, a bank might buy the item itself from the seller, and re-sell it to the buyer at a profit, while allowing the buyer to pay the bank in installments. However, the bank's profit cannot be made explicit and therefore there are no additional penalties for late payment. The goods or land is registered to the name of the buyer from the start of the transaction. This arrangement is called Murabaha. Another approach is EIjara wa EIqtina, which is similar to real estate leasing.

as these there are many other reason for this banking system could be consider as an effective banking system in the world, but for me being this system so related with the religion, makes it very subjective to people belief and therefore weak, not mention the high degree of control that has over the persons who is acquiring the financial services because practically they are telling you what you are allow to buy or not and if you are going to buy something that just don't follow islamic law they don't lend you money.

I think that the problem is not only by corporations, is a cycle that involves multiple parties like the consumer society, government, retailers, and in turn the same corporations. all these are interrelated making one dependent on the other to exist, and we are the ones who create and maintain these large corporations through the consumerism, a process in which various actors are involved like distributors, the media,and other, which turn are large corporations that we encourage ourselves insites to continue to grow and consume more, so it becomes a repetitive cycle where the consequences become disastrous not only for ourselves but also for the environment. This video can summarize the role of these actors in this cycle and show us why we are all guilty of that every day more corporations grow up more and more, controlling the capitalist system in which we live.

Cross cultural management is a multiplicity of cultures and identities working together, sometimes under the same company, complementing depending on what each culture has to provide for reaching a common goal, where the culture of each individual is respected as valuable and full of new knowledge to contribute and learn. It can be very useful when wanting to expand markets in foreign cultures, as they have previous knowledge within the same company about what is interaction between cultures; in turn can provide a wide range of knowledge at the time of a new project, as there are more points of view from different cultural lenses; company can have a better handle on problem solving, among other factors that could bring great economic benefit for the entire company. The major examples where this type of management is applied is in multinational companies that have subsidiaries in foreign countries where people of other cultures work for headquarters; companies that export or import in turn are involved with new cultures, where the best decisions will be working respecting cultural differences.

Corporate culture as we saw in class tries to involve everyone in a company in a way of life and feeling the work within the company, seeks to show people how things are make and handle when they cross the doors of the workplace. Corporate culture is obtained through the years in a company, depending on the requirements and methodology that had been used within the company to do things, because people are get used to it. In my opinion corporate culture respects other cultures existing within the company, only if these are not contrary to how things are done there. Corporate culture can be seen applied to any company that has had some experience in time, where people through the experience know how it is working on it.

In my opinion both can exist within a company with international presence, since different foreign cultures can live together and learn how things are done within the company and all works as a single working unit, but considering what each culture has to contribute sharing a common goal, that is the benefit of all the business No matter in how many different places around the world it’s located.
